I got two MacMinis 6.2 late 2012, that are limited to Catalina, but want to use Live12 on macOS 11 or newer.
So got the latest OpenCore-Legacy-GUI patcher and followed the steps and can boot the BigSur installer from USB, but can't select a drive to install "This update cannot be installed on this computer". APFS and GUID is present which should be correct. The computer is according to OpenCore supported and has a profile for the Mini6.2.
I am stumbling over the "this UPDATE" part. Do I have to wipe the disk or does anyone know why it won't install?

Did you try to format a disk from Disk utility on the installer? I guess both HFS+ and APFS should work.

I have deleted the partitions and formatted to APFS, but still the same. I don't know why the installer still says "update", but maybe that's normal. The installer shows if something isn't right like wrong filesystem or GUID missing.
