Is it possible to use the material located in the Presonus Exchange (macros for example) without actually having to connect to the service from the Studio One application?

 

Do you mean do you need to be online to use them, or do you mean you need a PreSonus device to connect to them? I just let my recording computer phone home to Adobe and check for PreSonus other software updates once a month. Other than that, I don't need to be online to use that stuff. It's downloaded. The people at PreSonus are super supportive, and they have a sense of humor. I am very happy with their products.

 

I have a Presonus Exchange account that doesn't work: When connecting from Studio One, it tells me that the Serial Number is wrong (which is kind of logic since it's not a leggit copy) therefore I was wondering if there was an other way to access Presonus Exchange (from a web browser maybe?) in order to download and add some stuff to Studio One (macros for example).

I am not aware of a way to do that, but computers are not my strength. If that stuff is available nearby, one of these nice people here may PM you to steer you the right direction.

 

Have you tried looking on the presonus website forums, theres a section for exchange.You may be able to get what you need from there.

 

You need to have a paid for and legit serial (artist/professional/producer) to be able to download from the exchange, unless you know someone who can download them for you and then send them to you

There were some macros included with an earlier AiR release, however those with the AiR release are not the entire macro library (check the info's from their rls. Not sure if they work with newer versions, but im pretty sure they do.

My copy is legit so not certain about the more recent scene rls =) Well worth the purchase, bought mine at 50% off in their sale a few months back!
