Whenever I look at my Mac info and notice things like Acustica Audio, Motu (never installed anything by motu) etc, many are not able to be shut off cause they are not in the actual list,

like for example Acustica Audio
And I have no clue what some of the other things are and if I should block them.

Blocking something is a personal decision on which apps you want to block (warez, tracking apps, etc)!
Don't let the paranoia spread...
But if you like you can install a real Firewall for macOS, like little snitch or LuLu.

Oh you have Dubler2, How it goes with this plugin?

 

the reason I posted this is because I cant block or stop incoming connections...also some show up in the apple System report while others dont in the firewall preferences..so does anyone now any way to block them?

Dubler2 works fine, well like it is supposed to. Not my kind of thing though. Anyway, you need a software firewall like LuLu. Figure out LuLu first, and then switch to Little Snitch if you even need it. LuLu is way easier to manage for new users. You can block Applications in the Mac system firewall. You can block all your .components or .vst3, etc plugins using LuLu. You can block entire folders like /components even. It's about the easiest to use software firewall I have ever seen.

The reason why you get any* incoming connections, is in response to you not having outbound traffic correctly blocked. Otherwise those websites would not have your ip address to do anything with, like ping in reply to you notifying them you are running their programs.

Don't forget to block Logic or other DAW, even if they are paid for and legit.

I have both Lulu and little snitch up to date, in little snitch I already block logic plugins from trafficking..but the apple firewall has the option to block those app yet doe snot let me..its weird.., and as I already stated the Acustica Audio show up in the "About this Mac/Get more info/Preferences/General/About/System Report/Network/Firewall lists..yet in the actual preferences/Network/Firewall/Options/Incoming list of apps etc show only some of the same things in the ABOUT ME list., when I try to block incoming connections for anything in the list nothing happens, I click OK and nothing changes.

You think there is a terminal line to take care of this?

 

Yes the Apple firewall is over bridged by some apps, and most of the times doesnt work if you dont configure it right, that's why other apps like lulu exists, to make your life easy.

what d you do when you get these errors claiming you dont have permissions to trash an app via appcleaner, even after giving yourself all permissions to the application folder or whatever? have you see this on m1 Macs before?

 

This files should be in use. Stop them, later erase

If You wanna get rid of them of course, if not just forget it like all the junk in the hard drive, and walk away, go streets, find love...

what if you get errors when trying?
I tried commands from the sister site as described in the instructions, I even dragged dropped the file unto the terminal and still got errors in the terminal
