FM8 isn't old tool

Skrillex and Noisia used it and they are not grandpas (I hope)

Neither of them are too old to use. Those Ohm Boyz plugins they used a lot for this stuff, would even be useable if you could resize the interfaces. Something like that could be considered too old, and people still use them anyway. I'd take Massive over Massive X any day of the week. Use some nice new FX plugins on them and they will not sound outdated at all.
