Hey guys I don't get this part :
    2. Place a copy of the folder containing R2R's debloated plugin files into the
respective plugin folder. (These folders usually have the plugin name, may be
quite large for some plugins, and contain N2V and other files. Since you'll need
a duplicate of this folder for each plugin type you wish you use, consider using
only 1 type of plugin for plugins with larger file/folder sizes.)

Where are those files ? they are not in release folders ...

Is there a final tutorial available somewhere because the instruction txt is not clear ...

    Thanks !

Can somebody make a video of themselves doing this and put it up on an unlisted youtube or something? I think i get it but I'm a visual learner.

Those files are in an R2R folder in a folder called common. unzip that and youll have a folder named the plugin name, and some other files. All of these including the newly unzipped folder of the plug name have to go in each plugin directory along with all the other files in AU/VST/VST3 etc. On Mac you can make a symlink (once one version is placed in one of the plugin folders) and just copy the symlink renamed to just the exact plugin name, inside the VST opr VST3 or any plugin folder that doesn't have the original folder in there simply to save space.
Note that some of these Acustika plugins may not have that extra folder to unzip in the R2R folder, so in that case it isn't needed. Just the other unzipped files in the R2R folder.

Try this: Run these commands in terminal for each plug change the name where you see "PINK" in these.

    sudo xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/PINK4*.component

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/PINK4*.component

You can always use a * as a wildcard as shown so it returns all of the Plugins containing the word AMBER3 and the file ending .component

Okay i tried this based on what you told me, everything was detected and it said "replacing existing signature expect for the el ray and el ray2

this issue is that even after that, logic pro x does not even detect the plugins at all...

any idea what i would be doing wrong?

Is anyone else getting insane CPU usage with these plugins?

I'm maxing out 3 M1 performance cores with a single instance - I'm using Rosetta though, is this an issue?

Installation was smooth and the plugins react as they should (sound great, too).

DId you ever manage to find these files? I saw the response from grdh20 but it was still unclear as to where that ZIP file could be found. Is the "/R2R/" folder supposed to be in a certain release or in some other location? Any help is appreciated!

the R2R folder contains a archive file called COMMON! in most of them. You need those files for every single release. Separately.

Some of the later MacOS releases have them already in the AU folder, and other plugin folders.

They were initially put in as COMMON! because you have to extract them for every plugin. No matter which plugin format you were installing, those needed to be added. So they did them that way to have smaller file sizes. the later releases you just extract at one time into your plugins location.

The files inside COMMON! are not duplicates. They are made for each release already, and you need to have them for every plugin. They are all different files.

Is there a specific release you could point me to that contains the "COMMON!" folder? I've downloaded about eight different plug-ins ranging in upload dates but there is no COMMON! folder contained within any of them. If I am missing something here, I apologize. I definitely value your time and helping me out with this.

**UPDATE** Clone, you can disregard that! I just downloaded AA Amber and it contained the R2R folder with the compressed COMMON!. It just is not structured that way in the newer releases, as you mentioned. Thanks again!

You put the folder with the plugin's name directly into your location for plugins. After that, everything else gets dumped in unceremoniously. The way it is supposed to look, is what many people question. It's sorta disorganized looking, but that is what it is.

Have you guys been deleting the "scorpion files" from the R2R framework when you install? Someone mentioned they call home, but I do not know if that is accurate or not. If you firewall the plugins, your DAW, and then block the domain in hosts file, i'm not sure about them being able to exfiltrate any data to mr.AA.

any ideas on how to get the nebula framework working on sonoma? i'm trying out upgrading from ventura to sonoma and i'm having a hard time getting the dylib files to work. sonoma keeps complaining about not being able to check bla bla bla. i tried the normal steps of xattr and code signing and also unlock and such with batchmod and clicking the open anyway option in security but no luck yet

i did get this message after the xattr command "Not enough arguments for option -c. Expected at least 1 but got 0", no idea if it really means anything or not

"Not enough arguments for option -c. Expected at least 1 but got 0"

You have to make sure this is not just a syntax error. the argument it should have is more text characters after the -c, and the rsv is recursive. Usually you are missing a space or have an extra.

Hi, I got it working, AU in Logic.
You only have to install the COMPONET folder.

We have to replace the following line:

    prep "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/AU/AMBER3.component"

    to

    prep "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/AMBER3.component"

Also, replace the name of the AU
