If he demonstrates the song with the sound of those libraries, it also reveals that he uses costly stuff.
The main issue here is monetizing from these videos. If you just do if for fun, nobody will chase you, especially because lawyers cost a lot for any company, so they would just go after someone who has the income to pay the penalty.

Yep, I bought a DAW, a few plugins, courses, subscriptions (like EW) and a few other things !
Since I am not a pro and don't make music as a way to earn money, I don't buy libraries. I am just an enthousiast that like to master the skills of composition and orchestration.
My money is better spent on courses and education, no one will care if I have the latest ultral lush legato of the latest library as an amateur learning.

I also like building templates.

I don't want to go public, just asking to make sure I don't show the wrong thing when I share some of my demos for fun

Thanks god for piracy, it made my childhood happy. I grew up in a country where nothing official was sold in term of software and online shop wasn't available. The problem is that you grow up like that and pirating stuff stuck with you even as an adult

Another question (sorry GF is sleeping and my adhd is firing tonight) : If I send you a Cubase .cpr project made with a cracked kontakt and a cracked library, will a guy on the other end be able to open it and load if he have a legit* kontakt and the same library but legit* ?

When you fire up Cubase to start a project, Cubase shoots an error message that says;

"sorry manz!
can't start your project because there no more disk space.
delete some kontakt lib's first!!!"...​

 

You only have 2 options.
1. Don't do it! everybody going to know u just a hoarder and not a producer.
2. Do it, make the videos private for friends and family.

I think the core and real question here is another. Its, do you really produce anything with these tools that justify having them? Or are you just hording stuff thinking they will make you a better musician.

In my opinion 97% of "producers" with tens of thousands in software and hardware that are present today on youtube make "music" so darn basic it could be reproduced on an old iphone with just a couple of cheap ios apps.

Without a little of experience, some hard work and basic notions of composition at the very basic level NO library mountain is going to make any difference. An atomic turd is just like an analog regular turd.

9 out of 10 hoarding is a sign of lack of focus and compensation and an overall lack of direction.

And btw, do not take it as a negative comment on attempting to orchestrate, I’m just pointing out that it’s common to submerge in useless collateral stuff and avoid working on the very basic, which is constructing simple but effective melodies and simple arrangements.

That is the challenge and that challenge can be done with the simplest tools. Overreaching “technically” with library’s won’t do a darn thing for that process but the complete opposite, it will only distract and occupy your mind and time, that’s all

 

If your trying to make money off your stuff , wether its plugins or Kontakt items , "Then Pay for it !!" Its thats simple.
I feel its a very sick thing to come in here and ask for help to identify markings or anything , so you can make sure
your able to lie and make money off shit you got for free ?? very low life if ya ask me !!
