Hi, i need help with UAD ecosystem, im new to this. I have a doubt with uad plugins. I recently bought uad essentials from pluginboutique.com. After that i bought mix edition within the same account and claim both on my uad accout. I ended up with duplicated licenses for everything included in essenstials, owing to mix edition have it all plus a few more plugins. The thing is, how do i split the bundles into two different systems within the same account? So i can transfer one entire bundle to another ilok accout. Another question: now theres a "signature edition" which includes all native plugins from uad so far, what happen if i claim the bundle on the same account? Will I end up with 2/3 duplicated licenses?

 

You can't.

Yes, nothing you can do about the duplicate licenses. If you are willing to wait, UAD have hinted that a crossgrade offer for recent bundle purchasers is "likely" at some non-determined point in the future. Alternatively, create a separate ilok account, and buy the Signature Edition as a new customer to claim the standard additional 20% discount.

 

Thanks @FrankPig for clarifying, it was very confusing for me. So basically, as i claimed 2 differents bundles within the same account i "lost" one of them, that's crazy! UAD deserved to be cracked and posted! As a new "customer" i feel kind of cheated about it, it's wrong!

 

each plugin license can have its own account, but not at the same time., and .... when you sell them you are forced to sell the bundle, you cant sell them individually, I just learned that mistake from a thread on this site..,

UAD will be available to all Mac user for sure but until then if you happen to (I dont know why on earth you would) buy instead of subscribed to access bad plugins and so also happen to be trapped in their ludacris out dated dying echo system just take deep breath and call them about the possibility of a solution, they do allow custom bundles., but we know UAD, GREEEED!

 

You are referring to UAD2 plugins which require hardware, and can be sold alongside that hardware.

The bundles OP bought are native UADx that do not require hardware, and are not transferable.

 

Las time i checked the only way of doing that was to use one system with ilok cloud and the other with the ilok dongle.

 

Yes, the plugins i bought are native UADx, dont use hardware, they are only iLok protected. I bought them at pluginboutique.com and claimed them through uad site. Its not right to have 2 licenses on the same account, makes no sense. Maybe as @mk_96 i can attach the plugins i use to iLok and this generate a new "System" inside my account, and transfer the other entire "System" with the licenses duplicated. If so, ill think in buying one iLok, ill mail them

 

contact UAD about it, ask them what they can do something, everyone I know has an ilok key, you can buy them online some times for $35 un used and all
