Hi.
I am trying to move my Maschine expansions, libraries and my projects I made in Maschine to a new Mac.
The previous Mac was holding all of these items on an external SSD which was my bootable OS drive.

All of my Maschine stuff is cracked so Native Access is not an option.

I have the expansion installers so I don't mind reinstalling them but I want to make sure my projects load all my samples like they did on the previous Mac.
Any help would be gratefully received.

If it makes a difference the previous Mac was a Mac Mini late 2012 i5 and the new one is a Mac Mini M2 Pro.

You still have the external SSD? It should be relatively easy since it is all data contained in the same places. You just want to mount the external SSD as a storage device instead of booting to it. The paths to all your samples and so on, will not even change.
How they make reference to the new configuration might be different, but you can probably use an Alias to forward the requests for the files to the "new location". I do not think you will need to use Symlinks, but that is another option if Alias doesn't handle it.

As for telling you that everything will just magically load correctly isn't going to happen. I would not tell someone that about an OS change using the Migration Tool even. You should have no problem doing this, but it's not a rubber stamp kind of thing. I would create a copy of all the import project stuff, the folders and everything. Once you are done you can just delete the copies. If you open a project, as long as you do not save it with all the wrong locations that do not match, you should not have a problem. The entire process will be easier to do than to explain, until you hit a snafu.

Install all the related software/expansions you know that you will need. Do that first and it will minimize the amount you have to do manually to whatever does not immediately work right. Worry about the housekeeping aspects of it, after you get it all working correctly. You've had a Mac for 8 years? This will be a piece of cake.
