    Hi Guys,

I'm confused about the vast of FX bundles from different vendors. Is there any recommendation for which vendor is should go? I don't want to overrun the DAW with tons of effect plugins.
I'm fine with the VST-instruments but still unclear which bundle I should choose for the standard effects.

    Thanks.

Which daw are you using, some already have decent effects.
What effects are you missing, do you mean basics like reverbs, delays or maybe multi effects.
And the biggest question, are you buying(if so how much do you want to spend) or getting from sister site?

It entirely depends on what you want the FX for and what type of music you make. For example, if making orchestral music then things like reverbs and analogue sounding channel strip type plugins may be better, whereas if making techno then more creative delays, echoes, reverbs and so on would be a priority.

There's bundles out there with everything for everyone, like MeldaProduction mentioned by @Lieglein but there are other too like Plugin Alliance MEGA Bundle, Waves Ultimate, Slate Digital, all of which have their pros and cons. FIrst and foremost, you need to work out what you need and why, i.e. what you are trying to achieve in terms of your style and genre and so on.

Doubt you went with single bundle for synths, do the same way for effects. Take it slowly, explore what your DAW has to offer, explore what different vendors offer, find out what do you actually gel with and cherry pick the stuff you are really going to use, learn about those tools and techniques on the way, take your time, make informed decision.

only you can answer yourself what plugins included in your DAW don't meet your needs,
sure minimizing your toolkit is a healthy mindset, but you shouldn't limit or force yourself into one plugin company if you want specific things they don't offer or don't do well,
most companies offer free demos/trials, definitely try before buy,

if you need ergonomic mixing plugins, you can't go wrong with Fabfilter, Sonible or TDR,
if you need reverbs, Valhalla plugins are fantastic yet affordable,
if you want sound design stuff, Soundtoys and GRM Tools are wicked stuff
(that's just a few to mention, definitely not all or best for everyone)

I too can't recommend to install a complete FX bundle, no matter the company. They usually come with waaay too much of everything. No one needs or uses 20 EQs, compressors, or channel strips.
As the others already mentioned, look what your DAW is lacking, get maybe three FX of one kind and compare them thoroughly before getting the next type of FX.
