So you need closed back headphones with best noise isolation possible and as flat sounding as possible so you can hear all the details of the recording properly, and they have to be comfortable for hours of listening sessions... I would lean towards Beyer Dynamic DT770 250 ohm, or 600 ohm (more ohms - impedance means more flat) or what used to be Sennheiser 380 or now you only have 280 pro. 380 were so comfy and detailed. I would definitely check new AKG - Austrian Audio Headphones, too, like Hi-X60. AKGs always had great detailed sound. K271 is it? - closed back ones. But they're not as comfortable as Beyer Dynamic or Sennheizas.

I heard good things about Audio Technica's M50Xs, but never properly heard them and felt them on my head. ATs probably sound pretty detailed, too.

Mastering on headphones?!!!

 

Can be better than paying headphone price for a guy just throwing your tracks into an "magic auto mastering" plugin

Cheapest i seen : 10 bucks / tracks
12 tracks : 120 bucks

DT770 250ohm second hand price

I prefer to make MY own errors instead of paying a robot to do it

You can't expect a 10 bucks / track to be serious human work.

Honestly, I trust my calibrated IEMs more than any control room I've ever worked in. In terms of raw detail, nothing can beat 100% direct sound with no room sound. Considering that so many people listen to music on headphones and buds, it's not a bad idea to make headphones/IEMs your main listening system nowdays.
