Hi all
i want to learn the Syrian language. I read that it is a dialect of the arabian language (if that was right)
How can i learn it ? Is there a very good app (Android) or YouTube Channel or is it enough to use the google translator or anything else

if you want to learn arabic( the syrian speak a levant dialect of arabic) in order to converse, read , write etc then best to go to a teacher. I used berlitz whilst living in the middle east, if you can find one wherever you are.
if you want to learn for music, vocals etc then go for google translator or an app, but beware as with most languages its likely to come off as broken Arabic eg not grammatically or context correct but most people would understand what you mean( natural Arabic speakers would likely noticed most)

If you want to learn Syrian just join up in the US Army and volunteer to go there as they are occupying 1/3 of the country. There's no better place to learn a language than in it's country of origin.
