I cant find how to view the project list in Reaper 7. Anyone knows where it is now?

I still haven't found out what my issue is w/ reaper 7.01; after a lot (several seconds) of troubleshooting I think it might be related to a graphics driver update (nvidia 545.84). I couldn't find it, but are there any hidpi settings in reaper? (reverting to 6.8x didn't fix it, so I think a setting changed when I updated it.) I might have to nuke it from orbit!

 

Why don't you address the devs directly on this?

 

Haven't installed v7 so far but according to the manual it should still be there File -> Recent Projects.
Maybe it was accidentally set to 0? Preferences -> General, or https://dlz.reaper.fm/userguide/ReaperUserGuide701c.pdf page 29.

 

Yep, at least I've found one for the single pluggies or several at once on a track (so not in general).
When you open the Add FX to Track window (by clicking on the FX button), right click on the FX and you'll find Compatibility settings to play around with.

 

My experiences with the support are that I try to avoid it...

 

That's not what I'm talking about. Before you could have a list of all actually loaded projects and save or load projects lists from there. This is what I can't find now.

? Save? So you neither mean the window that opens with Reaper to select a recent project?

 

Seems like an oversight! Anyway, the first plugin I tried it on (ace) crashed reaper (hidpi mode) so that wasn't too promising! It's weird that reaper is now colossally (slightly) more bugged than steinbug's effort! Likely nvidia's fault, tho. Oh well, w/ C13 (lucky for some) is out soon, that will prolly change! (Weird that I'd never even opened that docker before, my tigery chum, thx!)

 

Running the 537.58 Studio driver here (RTX 2070) with zero issues, maybe try this?

 

Go to Preferences>General>Advanced UI/System tweaks:



And try changing HiDPI mode to "Unaware" (or any of the others if that doesn't work!)

 

Yeah, it's not too bad atm, I just use reaper to mess around w/ new plugs; not record stuff @anonymouse so it's not too much of an issue. I installed the next driver (545.92) and the resolution weirdness is fixed, but the transport buttons (play / record & change prefs) still take ~16s. I cba to find which (automatic) setting change has caused it! Wish there was an easy way to reset settings, but I think that the update already did sth like that?

It's on that mode atm, @FrankPig, which causes the windows to go a bit crazy! I think I went thru all the monitor options, but I'll try them all again, just in case I missed one.

Hmm... Never had any problems getting help in the dev release forum with new problems that appeared in new versions. Devs are always very responsive there.
