There is an older version of Rufus where you can easy disable all TPM, Secure Boot and other requirements when creating the Installation File. I also turn my TPM completely off, because when your TPM goes broke you have more than one Problem.

I have recently installed a debloaded version of Windows 11 - called Tiny 11. It uses less RAM (8G) than the original (20G) and I coudn't be more happy with it. I use ESET instead of Windows security - which takes about half of WS resources. I'm running Adobe, Maya, C4D, Studio One and Ableton without ANY problems. I was tired of Win 10...

It doesn't come with a Internet browser, so make sure you have a copy of your favorite browser to install afterwards. Features removed from Windows 11 in Tiny11.

Can Tiny 11 be installed over Windows 11? Or does it have to be clean?

Its not 8GB Ram vs 20GB Ram its 8GB Harddrive Space on Tiny11 vs 20 GB Harddrive Space for legit Win 11 after Installation. It uses less Ram but because of Mem Reduct which is a freeware programm you can also install on normal 11 and get same Results. I would only recommend Tiny11 if your PC is old otherwise its better to stay with legit Version. Also as i said some post above there is a Rufus Version which can turn off the need of TPM and Secure Boot for legit ISO as well. Also the adjustments made to Tiny11 are made by someone you don't know could be that this Person implemented Backdoors or whatever. The Only modded Iso with Security Updates included i trust are the ones from deskmodder.

I did not mean you can't update at all but the updates will bring back stuff which was removed before and so on thats what i meant with you will break Tiny11 when using updates. For Tiny 10 there where new ISO's now and than for new Big Updates.

Well honestly... on my daw machine there's nothing of any importance or interest connecting to my personal life nor is it connected to the internet except when it absolutely has to be so if Tiny 11 is full of back doors that dude can knock himself out

Killing defender requires you to make the changes to the registry in 'safe mode' otherwise it will revive itself.

To the original poster, Win 11 is very usable, I recommend grabbing StartAllBack release from the legendary group on the sister site. As it will fix your context menus, start and taskbar issues. To be honest 'd grab a version of that program for Win 10 as well, because the start menu on that OS, is not a clean and useful as it could be imho.

Having a backup "by chance" is no way to manage things. That calls into question your advice....

I will when I find one! (if you mind me...)

I did not mean you can't update at all but the updates will bring back stuff which was removed before - like what exactly...

People should do their own research to find out what is best for themselves!

Its best to download Tiny 11 from the original creator (NTDEV) and official website. You can debload an original copy of Windows 11 yourself if you don't trust his.

    https://github.com/ntdevlabs/tiny11builder

All I can say is that I work with CGraphics (and of course audio) - I'm not a gamer. I have Tiny 11 installed for about 2-3 months now and haven't had ANY problems - everything is working as it should. That's my experience with it, and I wanted to share it.
Using something that is not original or "fixed" software is always a matter of trust - we all know that...
    Take if you will...

Use RollBack RX Pro and if it happens again you can easily restore before booting Windows. The Restore Points from MS are shitty as hell and don't work proper most of the time. Also never install new updates asap wait some time like two weeks, because often microsoft does revisions of updates when many user face Problems while updating.

So "they're stopping support in 2025"... So what? All my internet machines are Win7. They "stopped support" for that years ago, YET, I'm still running fine here. The whole support thing is simply a rouse to sell more shit. When they stop support they CANNOT stop patching the OS for REAL code bugs and compromising vulnerabilities - EX, I have applied 5-6 patches to my internet facing boxen for various bugs and vulnerabilities since win7 "support" was discontinued. However, if one is using the windows junk (i.e. - store, a/v, defender firewall, cortana, etc...), especially on a production machine, I guess one would have already bought and swallowed the kool-aid. Personally, I would stay with a stripped and optimized win10 build. Or you could go with a stripped and optimized win11 build. Either way, if you're using this build for production, removal of any direct internet connectivity and any/all windows junk is a necessity that cannot be overlooked.

"End of support" is the best gift a Windows user can receive. At least, until newer hardware can't be supported.

I've had 2 issues. One happens all the time, its randomly muting a couple of program volumes. No idea why. The other occurred this morning when I did the update, my system font changed, it is super sharp with a black outline that wasnt nearly as pronounced as it is now. I tried going into appearance settings to fix it but nah. Went to try a roll back and the option isnt available right now. These and other little niggles annoy the hell out of me. Every update seems to screw up something. Yeah, I am not a fan of Win 11. And this is exactly why I never allow my Win 10 work pc online. I have it stripped back to bare essentials running like a champ.
