Arturia V9 still in demo mode

Discussion in 'Software' started by Vincent Price, Sep 28, 2023.

  1. Hello

I am having an issue, when I am installing Arturia stuff on my Mac when I have patched it and load it up in logic it is still saying it is in demo mode and cannot contact the software centre. It has never done this before with these install files...anyone had this issue?

This is with things like ARP_2600_V3__3_10_0_2545

    Thanks

You get this error when you do not have Arturia Service Center installed. After install, you should run it once. You can leave it in your Applications folder and forget about it. You won't need it again unless you buy something legit.

If you already have it installed, you need to Codesign the Arturia .component plugin still (or again).

  4. I had it already installed as Arturia Analog Lab V v5.6.1 macOS-TRAZOR installed it

  5. Still not working

What Arturia Service Center version did it install? This is current version: 2.6.1.2382

His notes also mention this: NOTE: Please consider uninstalling any versions already installed on your Mac before installing this.

  7. I have gone through all my files with a fine tooth comb...making sure there are no files lurking anywhere and it is still not working

  8. It wasn't working from the beginning with the Mac having a brand new setup

I just installed that Trazor release. My Arturia Software Center was already V 2.6.0. The Trazor installer skipped installing it. That's because a newer version is already installed than what is inside the Trazor package.

His Analog Lab version 5.4.7 is marked as U2B (universal binary). But his 5.6.1 does not show that it is. You could be using an Intel only version, but maybe he just did not include that in the title of his 5.6.1.

Did you get this: ARP_2600_V3. separately? You are trying to mix and match releases, because that is from V collection. Did you try using this patcher? Analog Lab will give all sorts of errors based on V collection installed synth versions not matching what it expects. This is why I never use Analog Lab.

  10. To be honest, I actually can't remember if I installed the release on M1 before, or if I took it straight from a Time Machine backup...so maybe I need the M1 release

You can download installers from Arturia and just use that patcher. Try one or more first before downloading them all. Maybe they have updated so that patcher will not work any longer. But you will get all sorts of problems trying to use V collection synths via Analog Lab. In my own experience, it is better to just pick one or the other.

  12. I have done that, but I am seriously confused...why is it running find in standalone mode, but then running in demo mode within logic?

I have noticed that if I put the standalone versions in rosetta mode then they come up with demo mode, but as soon as I open normally they are fine. However this presents a problem as logic runs in rosseta mode for all my other plugins
