whenever i try to select another driver fl studio just crashes and closes inmediately i tried everything tried changing settings in my sound devices etc nothing worked im starting to become really depressed since i cant record without fl studio anyone know why it crashes? im olny using fl studio no other application thanks

yes i do i even reinstalled to the latest avaliable fl studio version on sister site

yes i unticked exclusive mode and fl studio still crashes when choosing asio4all this is driving me crazy i need some help

 

Stupid question again, but why you are using Asio4all wrapper driver, does your audio interface got proper driver?

 

becouse my focusrite usb audio driver doesnt output sound i dont know why the thing is that asio4all works in bitwig 5 and ableton 11 but it crashes fl studio 21

 

Are all your sample rates the same?

 

If You are in win, delete the DMP files that logs after the crashing, after that try to Open fl, work a little, play some synths, close it, re Open and try to change the asio driver.

 

I would reach out to Focusrite, they must have some beta driver that works, I was their user in the past, always issues with drivers from their end.

it doesnt work i tried playing with synths and re opened fl studio i get the same crash automatically when i change the audio driver from fl studio asio to asio4all or any other audio driver isnt there a txt file where i can change the audio driver?

 

Maybe, go to documents, image line, fl studio, suport, logs, startup, and fine the last log, find the part of audio and try.

Or try to uninstall all, the asio drivers, clean the reg, and re install.

The DMP files, are in user, app data, local, crash dumps.

I don't know if there is the last versión of the sister site, for some users it works fine, for other not. The previous 21.1 works fine for all.

What I'm getting at is if you have then a re-install of win is perhaps your best bet if something went sideways there. Otherwise, you might try to do a system restore to the last known point that you know things worked.

Ps. What focusrite interface is it?
