If the original files of the music production are lost how can u prove at any point in the future that you made the track?

I think you need to be more specific, what DO you have? And what is it you are planning to do.

What is the actual problem you have? Context you know..

Reads to me like he has old songs "completed and rendered", but no longer has the DAW project/session files. Now he wants proof he actually made the song/s and cannot show the project files. If it isn't about money somehow, and someone asked me to see my project files; i would tell them to pound sand. Or you could be even less nice, demix the track in RipX and say "here's the stems!". :)

I have never encountered someone who was trying to take credit for my work, should that be a dispute. Put the onus back on them and have them show you the project files of "their work"; because they will obviously not have them either.

100% of the time I see such open loose general questions, they are always based on imaginary problems

well, you could see something like that turning into a bit of a pickle for someone with it as an actual problem. Most of the time, this kind of thing comes up because someone is thinking their decade old song has all of a sudden become way better than it really is. Or it is something shady, like a recent thread on here, actually. A guy thinking about giving someone the shaft on some old collaborated material he was going to sell and not tell the other guy.

even if you have very good record keeping and backups, where you could go back and dig the thing out probably; it would still be a time consuming task. And then with the technology, software, media, format changes, over that time frame? They used to re-record over used tape all the time; as an example. Salvaging all the files wouldn't happen just for fun.

For something recent, you should have it anyway. the actual owner of the material should have the masters. Unless somehow they have an arrangement to pay for commercial data/media storage or other deal, why would a studio keep the project files? the client paid for them and leaves with them to go do whatever they want with them. A studio isn't going to be responsible for stuff people randomly leave there. I think there may have even been some real full albums leaked online that way; before even going officially on sale to the public.

A lot of artists would rather concoct an alibi, than admit guilt; for their much older/early work because of how much they have improved. I caught an interview with Chance The Rapper (I think that's who it was) about a week or two ago. Anyway, the guy said something to the effect of the label tracking down all the copies of some old project album so they could make them no longer available anywhere.
