I do ask, how does one properly get Thrill by native insturments V.1.1 to work in kontakt 7.1.3? using the add library tool provided by Bobdule shows the library has been registered im using the VST version of kontakt. I checked the "Manage Libraries" tab and it does not show up. Is there a version of kontakt that needs to be installed for it to work properly?

A couple of ?'s... Are you using a separate app (utility) of some sort , re: "the add library tool"? The 7.1.3 version I use is the FULL version (not bobdule's) has all the management stuff built into it (like the legit version). Never had any issues with adding libs of any vintage. Sometimes when adding lib's you need to quit and restart Kontakt for the lib to show up in the browser. Also I always use the standalone app (not a plugin) to do library management. Dunno if it really matters just got into the habit of doing it that way...

 

using 7.18 sorry needed to update it to add another library that only works in 7.1.8, it should have had its own built in tool but i think when i updated it, it gave me an error message "Kontakt Requires Native Access". I am using a seprate tool to add the libraries im using though. It will add every other library but Not Thrill

 

May be that your nativeaccess XML file needs updating? I believe those bobdule Kontakt's apparently need the actual nativeaccess app in order to work correctly. With the version I'm running all I have on-system is the nativeaccess.XML file. There is no NA app installed. Apparently, and I have run into this before, the XML file needs to be updated enough to include whatever new NI app is being installed. If the file is a bit out of date, and you're trying to install a newer versioned app usually updating the XML to a latter version cures the issue. That may or may not be what's happening in your case.

This possibly could be it, would you know a good source for an updated updated nativeacess.XML File?

 

replacing the XML file didint do any good, managed to find an updated one but i dragged the patch for Thrill into kontakt and the message "This insturment belongs to a library currently not installed" and still does not pop up in the libraries tab

It's just "THRILL" causing the issues here correct? You're not having problems with other kontakt inst's doing the "not installed" thing? If yes, then maybe it's just a bad copy of "THRILL"?

 

Indeed, i have all other libraires working perfectly fine, maybe it would be best to try the non-updated version, adding other libraires i dont have any issues with but with Thrill its saying that its not installed to the version of kontakt im using

 

Sounds like it might just be a problem with that particular thrill lib. If you try another thrill version, make sure you get rid of the first one completely. Then go for the other one.

 

Im gonna see if a different version of kontakt can run the lib, you say you use 7.1.3, not sure where i can find it, but i read how certain kontakts have certain libs installed so that must be my issue with what i already have

 

ok using the 7.1.3 version didnt help either, so confused, every lib worked perfectly fine but not Thrill running the 1.1v, this is just mad strange

 

Im still in need of help with this issue ive checked every thread related to it and tried the methods they dont work, getting a lot of views here but barely any comments, very fustrating trying to get this to work

 

The 7.1.3 Kontakt ver I use is not bobdule'd. It's the R2R ISO. Not sure I said that before. I had Thrill loaded & running fine a few months back when I needed some spooky theatrical style queues for a edm project. Since removed it after use as it didn't need to be on the system taking up space for nothing. So Thrill does work with the R2R 7.1.3 ISO Kontakt. Your issue there sounds more related to something with the THrill lib than the kontakt version tho since all the rest of your lib's run fine except for this one.

If you have the bobdule kontakt you might try installing thru the native access app with that one? I seem to recall hearing something about NA needing to be used with the bobdule kontakt's at times...

at this point you might just PM bobdule himself. he has way more expertise with kontakt/lib quirks than most anyone on here...

 

2 libs have the same SNIPID have to figure out how to edit this, this is why it registers but does not show up on the kontakt interface itself

EDIT: So i made a new NICNT file and it shows up in kontakt BUT it still gives me the "This Insturment Belongs To a library currnetly not installed"
