There are few glitches, due to conversion.

Ooooh, this sounds actually impressive, didn't knew swam could do those kind of modulations

 

It's great, but it's not based on samples but physical model, a bit difficult to setup.

My only issue with SWAM (and most virtual violins) is sterility, both in sound and intonation. It can be overcome though. Part of why I like LASS (though not so much for solo strings)...

Violin and Saxophone i would say is the most hardest to imitate in a way

 

i agree the Joshua Bell one is pretty good that's the one i use the most

 

i agree i say its close enough but u can kind of tell that something is missing u can't really put your finger on it tho its hard to explain its the same with other things like guitar vst's as well

Look at Bohemian Violin by Virharmonic. It's the only violin I actually love playing on my midi keyboard. It's scripted really well. Here's a track I recently produced for an artist that has Bohemian Violin all over. Apologies I can't seem to attach the entire song but if you want to hear especially the intro (opens with the solo violin) then check it out on Spotify.

 

That's a well composed song. The vocals blends beautifully with the instrumentals.

 

It took me a while to find the right violin to fit the vibe I was envisioning I tried most all libraries you could think of and I settled on the Bohemian Violin. Glad you're liking my backing vocals.. that was the easy part haha

 

That sounds like a real violin; it's hardly a VST or Kontakt library. I've tried almost all the ones mentioned here, and despite them being very, very good, they still don't manage to sound as real as a violin. Therefore, with a lot of work using a VST, you can achieve something similar or very close, but not identical
