With all of the developments in AI maybe the forum could have a new section call AI with sub sections for music, art, programming etc. What do you think?

super into AI as u can seen in my past posts.. So I'm open to this! more and more plugins and software will have it included
I'm mostly neutral to this since i check the new posts or come here straight from the sister site AS feed. But i think AI is just a new technollogy that permiates into all the other sections, not the other way around, so making a section for it sounds kind of redundant imo.
My own thoughts, and why I suggested it, is that the whole subject of AI is so far reaching, even if we just consider the creative arts. I'm struggling to follow the developments and I would like to start using the tools already available but it isn't straightforward. It would be nice to have a bunch of people in the same place who can help guide the rest of us, or just to share ideas. I also think it would attract more members to audiosex.
I agree, and I also think it is a bit jumping the gun. Maybe we could wait for say, half of the "AI tools" available to actually even use any kind of AI. Look at all the "under-the-hood advanced coding" stuff that developers often use to describe products for years already, almost completely unchecked and bs. Distorting measurements, and even facts, all while using Weasel Wording just to hawk another useless toy program or plugin. DDMF will have to make an AI Doctor.
IMHO Ai is actually a trending topic and it's often used for marketing while there is no AI in the product, also, define AI?? So, no, it's really too early to make a specific section, because the information is not accurate, so we would have every one and his dog with an uninformed opinion writing what ever.
I don’t think AI on its own would work as a category - like Olymoon mentioned, it’s kind of a buzzword being thrown around. I do think it would be cool to have a category for more advanced programming and DSP concepts, say for people that may want to start making plugins or something like that. that being said, tools like chat GPT can be very useful in writing simple code to make a simple plug-in, which can be very useful for learning purposes as you get can started pretty quickly.
Strange, I can't see it here while logged in but when I load the page into a different browser, not logged in, I see the results.
Figured it out, when the other thread was removed my vote was also removed - reinstated! I see the results now. Seems pretty even.
