i installed the most recent Arturia Sound Banks Bundle 2023 7 By VR this morning
and now im getting missing samples every other preset i click on within Analog Lab
i must had did something wrong this the first time this happened
can somebody show me step by step how to resolve this issue

 

Did you overwrite the earlier release or freshly installed this one.
Overwriting Arturia VR release causes many users to have missing or corrupted presets as reported on sister site.

I would suggest you to go for a clean install.

Your problem will likely be solved

One other tip by epidemic I am posting here:-

on Synclavier samples bank "Hadra Trance Signature" all the samples with "Gelé" name will not load because there's a cyrillic character instead of the "é", change all the ctrillic characters with "é" and all the samples will load fine, same thing on CMIV samples bank "PatchWorks", rename all the "Gelé" named files.

C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\Synclavier V\Factory\Hadra Trance Signature
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\CMI V\Factory\PatchWorks

 

thanks yeah i just overwrited the release i was thinking since it was from the same team that the results will be the same ok i will now try a clean reinstallation and see if everything gets resolved

 

oh yeah i got a question do i have to install the whole Arturia Collection for all the samples to work in Analog lab? ......
or can i just reinstall Analog Lab by itself?

 

Analog Lab works fine as a completely standalone product. It gets even more "interesting" when you start adding V Collection synths, updating some and not others, etc. It can become a headache if not done "correctly".

 

oh ok thanks for the heads up as well ......yeah ima stick to what i been doing which is installing the standalone

 

If you are used to just installing a few V Collection synths, adding Analog Lab on top after that probably wouldn't be that big of a deal to you; and I have done it before. But if you were to go from a completely working Analog Lab installation, and then start updating various V Collection synths underneath it is when it gets messy. It's almost like it loses track of the installed version numbers and prompts you to locate things over and over. It will still work, it just becomes pretty annoying.

 

the way Arturia extract they files while installing is already messy and take long as shit lol they the only software company i seen that does this
....hopefully they can update Analog lab to where its more user friendly when it comes to presets and samples so it wont continue being a big mess in the future

I guess you can clean install in this order if it's not working

1. Uninstall old Versions
2. Install Analog Lab V
3. Install Pigments
4. Install Synth V-Collection
5. Install Keyboards & Piano V-Collection
6. Install Augmented Strings/Voices/Bundle
7. Install Sound Banks Bundle
8. Install FX collection
9. Install Third Party Presets (for Analog V, Pigments, MiNi V3, Mellotron etc.)

You can decide for yourself whether you want to install only the Analog Lab or whole collection
From your viewpoint I think you can skip steps 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9

BTW use latest version of the Plugins. I read a few comments on the sister site specifying that some presets work with latest version of the plugins.

@Colon i was meaning to get back too yall ........yall method worked now im not even getting no missing samples and this new analog lab bank that VR released today is even more faster loading on my computer i dont know what VR did but its enjoyable

This has been bothering me for a while.
Arturia Sound Banks Bundle 2023 5 seems to be the last version with the missing samples.

Augmented Piano/Strings/Voices alone were missing 10,923 files!


My solution:
-Install the bundle above on my other computer.
-Copy the samples folder to my main one.
-Use FreeFileSync to compare the directories and find which files are missing from the newer bundles.
-Change from mirror to update so files will only be copied one way.
-Unclick show files that won't be copied so only the missing files are shown.
-Select all of them, right-click and use Copy To... to save the missing files to a new directory so I don't need the full 13GB 2023 5 installer.
-Finally, click Synchronize: Update-> so all the missing files are copied to the main samples folder.
