WOW! We are currently modelling one of the industries most amazing full mastering chains, all settings and devices captured with passion and beauty.

This is our first Ai Flagship Mastering series, we've also captured multiple chain settings to give you the maximum post processing options for your music. Brilliant on buses, groups, master bus!

I'm new to proteus when I'm using 4 or more instances of proteus loading those profiles (past to future revers for example ) on my project the CPU starts maxing out then I have to render to audio track.

Is there a way to optimize that ?

No. I contacted the creator some while back, to give him a heads-up of how his tool was being used for delightfully unintended purposes by PtFR, and I brought up the massive CPU hit as well, despite the fact I'm sitting on 32GBs of RAM. I'm paraphrasing, but he essentially said that there weren't any plans to try and optimize it. I just remember that my takeaway from his overall response was that it works fine for what it was intended to do, which I thought made sense.
Besides that, a lot of the captures are Pre-amps, Tape Machines, DI Boxes, etc., which would make sense to bounce down before mixing anyway. Anything like Compressors and EQs, or similar that would would normally be topping channels, might have to be relegated to buss duty so your machine doesn't catch fire.

I use reaper for mixing purely because its one of the few DAW's that utilises all your cores, I show on the videos that i'm using 0.3% CPU with Proteus loaded, the computer doesn't even blink, ive done full sessions with 95% of my plugins being proteus with no issues.

I use Reaper sometimes, especially to test plugins, but I'm still curious how many cores you have. I'm using Studio One 5 and have six cores and I can't run more than maybe 4-6 instances of Proteus, pre-bounce, with as many virtual instruments running, and no other heavy plugins, just VUMTdeluxe, TrackControl for gain staging and panning and high/low cleanup topping the channels, both of which use almost zero CPU. Ironically, with Studio One 4 on my Win7Ult PC, but with only two cores and 16GBs of RAM, I can run nearly as many instances before running into issues—but that's Win10 for you.

@StUtOpi4 Like PtFR did, you might want to include a readme/heads-up in your files (if you don't already,) that you need to turn off Proteus' built-in IR if you want the correct tone from your captures. I keep seeing people thinking that it's an On/Off switch that doesn't work, or something similar, like an EQ In/Out, the latter being the more common.

We have almost completed modeling the new "Supersonic Master Chain Profile".. and to my ears it sounds absolutely brilliant! cant wait until we release it, people are going to love this! INPUT> transformers> Manley EQ> Magnum K> Neve MBP> Magic Box> Neve Bus Converter.... it sound very special.. we've done 2 profiles for this, a Bigger, Fatter, Wider preset and its like nothing ive heard in the box before.
