I do not know about music software security. I CAN tell you, from my experience with a financial software company, we used "machine ID" in our security and it was based on your network card's unique ID. so if you are connecting via a different card or method (wifi vs hard-wired ethernet) your machine ID can be different.

Or, maybe you guys know all of this stuff and Im just a noob repeating the obvious. Or maybe they dont use machine IDs the same way. Either way, maybe it might help someone.

PA (or KG) generates those IDs from the HW you choose from the dropdown menu on screen that comes before screencap you are showing. It can be either your PC or one of your USB flash drives. Be sure you've selected the same thing on that menu.

Also, do you mix legit and cracked plugins? If you have the 'Activate all' selected or/and you load the wrong .license file you can accidentally deactivate everything. It gets messy sometimes.

Ok, at least this theoretically simplifies things.
Than that has to be the 'Computer: DESK...' one and you don't have any flash drives inserted into USB ports.
That's really strange. I only have problems with those activated to USB drive deactivating and re-connecting the stick fixes it.. But yeah, out of ideas. :dunno: A bump for you, maybe someone can give you some helpful advice.

Yes, it's very strange I've got the same problem. For me the solution is to activate on a USB stick. When a plugin is deactivate I'm forced to restart the machine and it works again. Annoying, but it works.

They are others posts talking abaout "PA R2R deactivation", but nobody understand the problem and find the start of a solution... in my knowledge...

Don't know if R2R know this problem, it's very strange. For me it's arrived after the build of my new PC. The older one don't have this problem and all R2R PA plugins never deactivate.

    Ok, good music !
