CrLazy is a word I just came up with I think- it's when your bad temper prevents you from being able to properly look something up to search. So I am making this (in mods I trust) for questions people might have that they don't feel like they've done the proper amount of due diligence on researching BUT also they've hit a wall of some kind.

 

I'll start! question regarding the recall on bypassed offline vsts. I have a shitty 8 gigs of ram and an addiction to nebula and the dsp53600 synths. I've lost settings before, and I'm guessing it was because on this new computer I forgot to turn off read only in the vst folders. is there anything else I should do to help prevent losing saved settings?

 

I'd like to try Reaper but I'm quite fearful of it...

 

I typed out quite a bit of an earnest response saying "just message me I'll tell you what's up!" and then a certain blue oyster cult riff came into my head like a lightbulb lol.

also PRETTY sure my problem wasn't reaper but those vsts (nebula is nebula so jank and Osiris is in beta so) living in the vstplugin folder that had read only.

 

Maybe you have a cowbell problem?

Sorry, I can't help with Reaper, I've used it a couple of times but I've never started a project with it.

 

What songs should stay on the White Album if you condensed it down to a single vinyl album?

 

From a commercial standpoint it makes sense to remove all the songs by living Beatles because people like the dead Beatles more. When Paul dies his songs can be re-added. When Ringo dies... Meh...

 

it's not an accident so many of the memes on the shit post thread (and saved on my hard drive) are "CAN I TELL YOU ABOUT REAPER!" hahaha.
