hmm sorry, blast from the past though. i see by a quick Google search it comes up on KVR as freeware but the links back to the developers are all dead, all I see. so if you find it I'd like it for PC, just for the memories. I'll keep looking
a pc version was linked in some of those discussions: https://github.com/drakh/Livecut-GUI/releases/tag/0.1.1 i don't know anything about it, at all. Seems like you can find even the worst cracked plugins forever, but if you want something to really disappear from the internet; all you have to do is make it freeware.
thanks clone! good luck serjio! this pairs GREAT with the buffer override by destroy fx- who actually bucked the trend of freeware and updated it. that is if it's still up
yes but download link is dead, links back to the original dev site which has been shut down seems. or was yesterday!
oh. The one I linked is VST3 format, but it is for PC. The guy who put it and the juce source code for the plugin on GitHub seems to be doing one of those "keep a dead project alive" sorta thing. It's somewhere in the links on the KVR discussion of it. I looked around and could not find a Mac version. I doubt it is as simple as compiling the source to get a working Mac version of it.
lol this was me- "pffff Serjio wat a total noob can't even find the link- it's RIGHT here. guess I'll get it for windows since I'm here... oh. nevermind im the jerk now" sucks it doesn't work on m2 Serjio! you did end up finding the mac version in webarchive yeah? it's just not updated for m2. I just opened it up and through on some of my crappy vocals. now, it's possibly BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW HOW TO USE IT but it still crossed my mind how quick and fun it was to dial in settings on that. not to rub it in of course, thanks for reminding me about it, it'll be worth the hunt. and as a side note I'm using the vst3 version clone provided not the DLL from web archive. didnt square pusher have a plugin at some point or am I thinking of this? it's a good thing I only have 50kbs cellular or you guys would get a dose of like a final fantasy style battle song with buffer override, livecut and dumpster fire on top.

I'd be amazed given the date of the software that it's 64-bit - in which case you unfortunately have no hope because anything past Catalina on MacOS has to be 64-bit to run.
I have mac M2 7 month and I don't even know with model my os Catalina ventura bla bla, rest of vst installed and work well ,although marked as for intel. Idetical one izotop stutter but it didn’t work on my mac
No idea, none of this stuff is for Mac. It says that project is forked from this one: https://github.com/eventual-recluse/Livecut-GUI there are more details on that page, but still mostly dead links about this subject. this has some more info about things from same guy: https://github.com/bdejong/smartelectronix Last edited: Jul 29, 2023
