My issue is why do you automatically think anyone who challenges the status quo wants you to pay reparations from slavery? why does your brain keep going there?

 

We aren't on an African forum, therefore such a discussion should be had with Africans and I'm sure they are familiar with the consequences of selling their own, which are completely different from what op complains about. Also, I don't expect anyone to pay reparations for slavery, I just think it's funny how if I call out the establishment and its history of fucking people, that how it's not a new thing, that it was inevitable people get triggered? they start talking about slavery? as if that's the only thing that the machine has been behind?
I'm trying to tell you your deep attachment to the establishment is nonsense, that's why "society" is in decline, you were lied to and that we are in this shit together. That's all I'm saying. I'd love to have been born in or around 1950.

To be a 16 year old when The Stones, The 13th Floor Elevators, The Kinks, Yardbirds, Electric Prunes, psychedelic garage etc were at their peak. Cue some heavier drugs, flared trousers and indulgent guitar solos....glam rock, Captain Beefheart, Funkadelic, Disco and, eventually punk. Then the Two-Tone thing and some indulgent post punk art stuff, via Kylie Minogue and Madonna kebab. Mudhoney and Seattle, etc. Acid House, the daisy age, Shoegaze, Britpop and I can't remember what my point was.
