I can't do the dark souls/elden rings stuff. what some call challenging I call frustrating and lazy game design- although I know the latter is a hard argument, and one made from someone bitter they never figured out the beginning of first dark souls.

what I AM playing, and what imo any PC gamer who has an interest in games should check out, is Stalker Anomaly EFP edition. it is one of the best games I've ever played, it's entirely free (legit) and the community has modded this 2014 engine to rival current ones.

it oozes with passion, it's got some rough spots as it's a community sourced game, but all in all it's a 10/10. if you like survival fps horror tactical stuff, it's prob the best single player game you can find but even if that isn't your thing it's worth checking out to see what happens when people care about a project versus what happens when someone is trying to just make money.

The last game I played was Astroids in 1983. That night my friend took a pee near a black pick up truck. The guy came and broke my jaw.

Are you mainly creating Ambient music? It would fit well :)

I really really enjoyed video games in my younger years and I think they are often a superior way to get immersed in things than watching a movie. Nowadays, I don't have time for either of those, unfortunately.

Battlebit sometimes, or Baldur's Gate 3 early access while impatiently waiting a couple of weeks for the full release

At that age where I feel like I'm wasting my life when I attempt to play those 100+ hour games. So, I can play casual games for like 10 minutes, but still torrent some of the 100+ hour games - just to admire the collection. :)

I'm always scouting games, hoping to find a gem—I've been impressed with CONTROL lately, and zoning out with Dysmantle's newest DLC—but I have go-tos that I always come back to that help me forget about everything, which I sorely need sometimes, games like Dead Cells, The Witcher, Blasphemous, Skyrim, Unbound: Worlds Apart, and because I'm masochistic, XCOM2/+WotC.

I'm already older than oldskool. You could call me an ancient gamer.:guru::rofl:
First console was an Atari 2600, with Decathlon, Pitfall, Pac Man, Frogger and Moon Patrol. Good times they were. :mates:

Right now, when I am not making any music, I am playing several games, like Elder Scrolls Online, GTA Online and Planet Zoo.

I admit, both my wife and I are pretty hyped about Baldur's Gate 3. We like D&D games and we're both down with that gay furry thing we've been hearing about.

Gylt on PC. Lovely looking survival horror that has a child protagonist. Tidy.

Trackmania 2020 and trackmania nation forever.

And also Duke Nukem 1 and Arcy2 (some old dos games.)

Took a bit of a pause from games, just didn't feel like it.

But now, thanks to excessive sunlight my body goes into overdrive and have difficulties sleeping, so I need to fill those hours somehow. So I picked up Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, containing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and The Lost Legacy. Those were Playstation exclusives that Sony for some weird reason ported to PC.

I'm almost done with 4 and it's been fun. If you've played others, then this is more of the same. Meaning it's a "summer blockbuster" of games. Very polished, not too punishing, and an absurd plot. Great entertainment then, just something my very tired brain needs after midnight.

Not hyped myself, but I'm waiting for the final release to come out. The first two are stone cold classics and are still oh so good. From what I heard the third seems good, but I'm not reading pre-release reviews. I want to dive in not knowing a thing about the plot and the scenario!

So whatever "gay furry thing" is, it's very not standard fantasy, but it is a very very Baldur's Gate thing. The old ones went through some pretty weird stuff... snuff theater anyone?

Aliens: Dark Descent. Pretty good game.. but buggy as fuck, so, if you play.. make sure the game is fully updated.
