I would not promote a software that's not license friendly.
Today I saw another good promo, but for an iLok plugin ... so Wont even speak about it.

But these guys at Tokyo Dawn Records really deserve our money.

Agreed. Their free plugins are stellar in their own right, but the full-featured GE are worth full price, so $10 is a no-brainer. Tokyo Dawn Labs were some of the first that I went legit with, and not just because of price point; SlickEQ GE is a go-to EQ.
I think devs often under-estimate the draw of easy licensing. I always end up supporting a company with easy/offline licensing, companies like Voxengo, NUGEN Audio, Synapse, Gospel Musicians, DDMF, and Fuse Audio Labs... hell, even DMG Audio has remained—*thankfully*—iLOK/bullshit-free. Now I just need to sell some non-vital organs to be able to afford a some DMG Audio tools.

 

TDR Kotelnikov GE was on sale at plugin boutique last year in August too, so I already got it for 10 €. Really a no-brainer, one of the best 10 Bucks I spent on plugins.

We could do an entire thread about licensing policies.
What I do before buying anything, is go to plugin boutique and look at the installation instructions. If i see any kind of invading process, I don't buy, no matter what it is or how much I want it.

TDR is one of the top ten (if not the best) plugin’s company that exists.
I eventually bought all of their plugins, (except the enhancer… a little too expensive) after trying them for a year of so…
Kotelnikov is absolutely amazing (and deep in it’s capacities). Maybe the best mastering compressor.
At $10… I can’t even believe it.
Nova Mastering Edition is another gem.
