it wont happen no matter how many requests we make same for slate digital plugins somedays i want to forget it all and never look again on sister site but that's easier said than done hope is hard to kill

 

It would be an incredible show of skill from r2r, that's for sure. But it's been a while since i've given a fuck about avid, and i already got what little i wanted from UAD (with a few disapointments along the way) so i'm not particularly excited about it.

Of course, the world wouldn't be a fair place if there weren't at least one downside to Pulsar's DSP power. The Quick Start Guide suggests the classic minimum setup: a 166MHz Pentium MMX with 64Mb of RAM. However, I suspect that the recommended Pentium II 300MHz processor, 128Mb of RAM, and an AGP graphics card with 8Mb RAM is closer to the mark.

 

3 years ago I would be really hyped about UAD (Profools not so much), but now I just don't really care anymore. The only 2 plugins I want to be on sisite are Pianoteq and Organteq .-. Otherwise I'm satisfied with the tools I have.

 

Surely Pianoteq 8 Pro should be on top of almost everyones list, because every other type of plugins and effects are continously and endlessly upped and updated. and Everyone and their granmothers are all making so many of them, that sites are inundated with them all claiming to be the best, do we really need rehashes of the hundreds of thousands or millions of reverbs, delays modulation fx etc. A newer version of Pianoteq hasn't been seen since 6.7.0 , the new Pianoteq 8 Pro is loaded with so many new features.

 

given that the signal processing plugin market is uber-saturated these days with a great deal of sheer drivel that is hyped to the max I don't even bother anymore. those are really the only ones worth waiting for (the UAD stuff) because they are a sure thing.

 

yep. went thru a quite disgusting ordeal with UA myself. if there's anything that is begging to be cracked it's the uad native stuff.

 

audiowarez is more like a crack addiction - I always say I'm going to kick it and go to re-hab but that fix is just too overpowering.
