hi when i'm searching things on google and click on results sometimes i get redirected to other sites automatically its like a virus, what could be causing this? how to fix?

For Firefox you may use addon like this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fi...la.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search

or others such as no redirect script or ublock

Malwarebytes has a free version. or TrendMicro, they bought out Hijack This! apparently https://www.trendmicro.com/en_us/forHome/products/free-tools.html

Most malware scanner/ removal programs will find something like this. They are generally not very complex, compared to a virus.
