Help. I have an old iPad 2 with iOS 9.3.5 but I can't install iPad apps (ipa files saved on my PC with Windows 11) downloaded from the sister site. I don't knows what i wrong. I tried using the usb cable with iTunes (both the latest version and an old one), with AnyTrans and with the finder and the explorer, I tried wirelessly trying to download the apps from the mail and also from some online transfer sites, but I couldn't. Any suggestions? And problems also with Safari browser on iPad, I can't even go to appdb.to and many other things ... Alternative to Safari for iPad2 ios 9.3.5?

That won't work. Either the ipa you've downloaded is signed with the credentials of a different iTunes account (then you can just forget it) or it is "cracked" and needs to be re-signed with your own developer certificate. You can either jailbreak your iPad and install all the required components to install such foreign ipa files or sign the ipa with a valid developer certificate, which is only free for 7 days, after which the app won't start anymore.

 

Thanks for your answer, ipa comes from sister site. So i have to figure out how to jailbreak my iPad2 ... i haven't used this ipad for a long time and also my idapple's mail has been deactivated and i can't reactivate another idapple due to limitations of safari and ios 9.3.5. A nightmare ...

 

ios 9.3.5-9.3.6 tethered method, installs cydia, etc. Could be worse. just don't expect much help, especially if you brick it.

Thank you, i I'll have to decide the best way, I'll keep trying without jailbreak, leaving jailbreak as a last resort

 

i did that to my first ipad, also an ipad2 actually, it's as unstable as my ex-gf. totally unusable with audio-apps
