    Hi,
    Like the title says,
These last weeks/days, several halion expansions were posted, @sisi.
I was wondering, Do they require some kind of license ?
Or all we need to do is placing the .vstsound file in the same folder where steinberg places all the other .vstsound files, and the next time we open halion, the expansion icon and presets will show up..?

The same with the other padshop2, etc expansions ?

Will those expansions work with a legit halion, legit padshop...?
    Thanks.

Supposedly you can just put them with the other vst sounds on C drive.
I decided to download steinberg library manager from official site and use it.
I just drag the file onto the shortcut on my desktop and it gives me the option of where to put it.
It makes shortcuts to them on the C drive for you.
Now I got them all on a USB.
Not sure if they work with legit but I am sure they will.

    my 2 cents:

I am a legit Cubase owner, but I dont own Groove Agent and Halion7. Even if I have Groove Agent SE and Halion Sonic 7 I decided to install the R2R releases of these last 2 apps, because GA SE was crashing, so I have R2R silk emu and certificate installed. I also have installed the AIR pensioneers patch, but it's not necessary.

GA expansions work flawlessly, I also have some legit with some of those released

Still have to check Padshop expansion, as I am a Padshop legit owner, will do soon

Some release that seems to be not working (at least I havent found a way to make it work...) are the .VSTSOUND like for example "Steinberg Image Sounds RnB Vocals VSTSOUND" which ARE NOT EXPANSIONS or libraries for Halion 7, those are Steinberg's proprietary format and contain WAVE FILES, mostly loops and one shots. I expected to find it in my MediaBay like other packages with VSTSOUND extension, but after I successfully authorized them in the Steinberg app Cubase starts with a warning: that library is not registered or demo period is expire

Does anyone know if theres a way to make those VSTSOUND libs work?

    -------
    EDIT:

I confirm all padshop expansion working

I do think that all the VSTSOUND libraries should work, but gotta find a way to open, maybe in Halion 7 as wave files. Will try soon
