iPhone photos showing up on Mac photos

    Hello

    I am confused, my iPhone photos which should stay on my iPhone are showing up in my Mac photos application. How is this possible and how do I stop it from happening

    I'd recommend reading up on how your iCloud and its sync works across your machines..

    They fool you by calling it a feature. Ecosystem my ass. You have no idea how many more places your photos have been. Definitely been through cp scan and many other ai checks. The fact that it happened without your awareness, is straight up privacy breach. Get off apple as ASAP, it's a shiny stairway to hell.

    Your iPhone photos are syncing to your Mac because iCloud Photos is enabled on both devices. To stop it, open the Photos app on your Mac, go to Preferences > iCloud, and uncheck iCloud Photos. This will keep your iPhone photos only on your iPhone.
