TLDR:
companies don't know how internet works, they only know they are supposed to make money of it,
companies think individual sites are "the internet", failing to understand content is made (and sustained) by individual users, not the social/forum platform itself

again, it's vaguely relevant to our AudioSex forum - which is (still) a healthy place to live in imo

No, seriously, my personal solution is very simple: I dont use them, unless I need promo...
But for personal enlightening and progress , no way. These place are just a waste of time.

3 days ago, I was playing with a band, and the guitarist told me about a Facebook page where I could find a Telecaster which I was looking for.
So I installed Facebook in my phone right away. Man, I received like 15 alerts every 10 minutes ... That's 2,160 alerts per day!! ..
I contacted the guy who was selling the guitar ans deleted the app immediately.

I dont know how you can make music which is something that require a lot of time to do well, and have time for social medias...
Only for music, I wish that days would last 50 hours...

 

yeah you are absolutely right companies are supposed to make.
