Hi Audioz people!

I usually use u-he Diva to play that synth bell-piano used by Vangelis in Tears In Rain melody (C-D-A-G...).

However, sometimes I like to use just Kontakt in a project. Can someone point me to some library(ies) with semi-ready sounds (Esper Synth, inexplicably doesn't have that preset that must be super light to make in a Kontakt Library, but immensely characteristic of that score). Any tips?

OBS: Preferably libraries that can be used for other more general synthy things as well...

I've used it a couple of times, though I'm not sure it's the general synth you are looking for.

 

I probably have all these sounds, but I created them for the Independence sampler, unfortunately, I can't share them because the whole library is 296 GB.

 

You gave me a great idea: Since I've never tested this library for its size, I'm going to download it and, in case I don't like it or find it redundant, I'm going to do a batch-resave with just what interests me! Thanks for the tip!

@Mynock I would suggest to look into BT Polaris.Yes I know it is not a Kontakt library.
But if you're after the authentic sounds of Vangelis & Blade Runner this is the library.
It is so deeply sampled, the presets sounds amazing & the sound design you can do on your own is amazing.
Polaris has replaced for me Omnisphere & synths like Diva,Arturia synths.
There was recently a major update on the library & it is so light on the cpu.
You can wait for the next 40% off sale.
Not only you will get a very nice synth/sample library engine but also it includes amazing string articulations recorded in AIR Lyndhurst Hall.

@Mynock I expressed myself wrong everything I have created for this sampler in 8 years takes 296 GB, there are samples from my 12 albums. It's not much, but believe me, there are best of the best samples out there

 

Dear SpyFx, always a gentleman and incredibly talented (not to mention a deep knowledge of different libraries)! Sorry for not answering you properly (I still will). I've been in transit, out of the music business, and I'll answer you with the due attention you deserve. Pal, this library is simply gorgeous... sounds really warm and deep, beautiful presets...it's a shame that it's out of my current budget, but without a doubt an excellent acquisition (by the way, like most of everything SF Audio produces). You won't believe it: I did a test with the simplistic NI Scarbee Mark I, added a good convolution reverb and voilà!

 

Since Past To Future CS-80 Runner Blade Synth and Esper Synth don't contain the sound I was looking for, may this post be useful in case someone needs a simile without using up a lot of HD space or breaking their savings! Thanks everyone for the suggestions
