I like him, I consider his channel one of the better ones in the area. Though, I feel like he should make longer videos when testing plugins, often I feel like he doesn't explore some plugins enough to keep the video short.

But if there's one thing I really like about him is how he advocates for the right stuff from plugin makers: auto gain, better user interface, etc. More creators should call out companies for not doing the bare minimum in 2023. I'm getting really sick of all the mouse dancing to keep my levels consistent in some really recent plugins.

 

i love this statement, applied to everything in that matter ,art., shows, gig ,education, entertainment ,let people do what they do ,and its about what you get out of it, maybe arts, is the art of learning ...no matter what , but if the attention is humor, different story.

Trying hard to avoid political, religious, and social comments and observations, but can't help but feel that comments like the OPs thinking they're entitled to be so judgey about someone's else life choices can only come from a place of sheltered upbringing and society lacking diversity and education in the modern day Other than that, the only other explanation is that they're a bit of an.....[insert your word of choice]

WhiteSea snake oil guy reminds me of a nordic Garth Algar. He's super nerdy but very smart and knows a lot of what he talks about. He's no genius but then again he'd probably tell you that himself. But how many actual geniuses are there out there in the audio engineering wild? We are mostly all just average folk (including Mr. Garth "hollander" Algar) trying to make a living doing what we like to do, and that is hard enough in itself. Some of his "reviews" seem a bit pointless from an informational standpoint due to the fact that he only scratched the surface of what he was reviewing, but he usually does it all in an entertaining way which makes it worth watching. The rants are the best part (the latest "blue light" one comes to mind) in his whole catalog of videos...

I give him two

He does not know fundamentals. He's a chatterbox.

But I like those guys. I randomly skip through all those channels to not miss anything. "Mixing Music Analog" with his square wave voice is also great. The Plugin Alliance channel and Mixing With Mike with his "Plugin of the week" is fantastic as well.

Use of the term "nordic" is a REGIONAL reference not an ethnic one. As in;
