Anyone knows a software that can show a numerical value or in percents % on windows mixer inputs? Something like 20 units gain, or volume 40%.
I found something on Google, some of those freeware installed toolbars and switched my browser search engine and now I have to scan with Malwarebytes.
I found a nice one, Volume2 Maybe someone knows more software (preferably free or paid that can be found on torrents).
Paid ones I found are: Power Mixer and Audio Control.

I could live even with something with no fancy gui, just show me the numbers!

I'm on Windows XP. It's really important to see the Input Gain units, as some software only shows Output volume.

  3. I use Windows 7 and my volume control shows me the percentage already. I looked at the Volume2 abut I do not really need to be able to pan my speakers and I probably could live without a hot key muting scenario.

I use Power mixer which shows volume in numbers which has a trial so you can see if it is what you are looking for but i mostly use it to control volume with a Midi controller which i think it is made for..
