    Hello evryone... good day.

    Years ago I had blocked my computer from connecting to Arturia. I think I just blocked it like... hardcore... if that's a thing.

    I set conditional stuff up in Little SNitch... though I can;t remember the ins and outs of it all. Arturia though, I recall going into Terminal and typing something one of you guys probably told me :rofl:

    I searched online about Mac and terminal etc, but can't seem to get the results they do online. I did "sudo nano /etc/hosts " and there was nothing but the following:

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    255.255.255.255 broadcasthost

    ::1 localhost

    So, after trying to find answer first... I come to the limit of terrestrial knowledge... audiopound.
    How am I not allowed to pullup arturia? I looked in Little Snitch (which is in demo mode), I THINK the Arturia block is not in there, but I need refamiliarize myself with the dark arts :D
    Thank you guys!!

    If your hosts file is not your problem; it is your firewall's ruleset. Little Snitch can be quite annoying, because it is also very effective/paranoid.

    If you cannot figure out what outbound rule you added to Little Snitch which is blocking traffic to Arturia, uninstall it. Test the connection to Arturia, and then reinstall it. Or use LuLu free firewall instead of LS. https://objective-see.org/products/lulu.html
    It's more of a "sure thing" editing your hosts to block domains, but using your firewall is the more desirable option, since you are not blocking an entire domain.

    If you are unsure that you altered hosts, this is a pretty simple guide:

    Thnks!!

    I decided something. I shut off Little Snitch and went to Arturia... sure enough it worked. Little Snitch is my source.

    I thought about uninstall Little Snitch but wont I be left vulnerable with all the stuff I had changed, but forgot about?

    I really prefer LuLu. It is free and lightweight; and it requires much less user interaction with it.

    These firewalls are very good at stopping Outbound Solicitation. When it comes to inbound traffic, you can probably flip a coin.
