Hello, I have a problem with updating kontakt 6 portable to version 7 portable, I have changed the settings file in Vst folder as it says it has to be done. and it works fine for me only with the vst3 version but the .dlls don't work for me, it loads the old projects with kontakt 7 but it doesn't open the configuration of my libraries used in the project with .dll, that doesn't happen with the vst3 version. I used FL studio,

you can have kontakt 6 and kontakt 7 at the same time. I have both

 

But, u have kontakt 6 and 7 portable?

 

you can have kontakt 6 portable, kontakt 7 portable and kontakt 6 or 7 not portable. Portable doesnt mix with normal version

 

I have both Portable 6 & 7.
You may need to open the Library Manager and rescan your main Kontakt libraries folder(s).
Once you do that it should find those libraries you used.

i have both vst3. you need to use "Install.exe" inside kontakt portable folder. it will add all links
