Try to make your Drums more Punchy, the Vox are missing emotional, Guitar needs to be more loud...

maybe i'll try ;)

 

just got a brand new UAD octo board...Time to try that on real stuff...

 

True, the drums lack a bit of more punch to them. I feel like the basses are a tad too strong and that makes the drums sound like they lack punch and the mix a bit muddy. "Theater of Rain" sounds better in that regard but it could still use less bass which is taking up too much headroom in the whole. It could be that your monitors lack bass so you compensate for that in the mix. Also, all the songs could use a little boost in the mids if they still lack punch after the correction of bass. I have to stress out that the imbalance is *not huge*. Just a few dBs. [I'm more into mastering than mixing and really "anal" about the sound quality] Vocals are very good and pretty much everything else sounds good.

"Dark Prophecy" sounds really good to my ears. The best so far. A bit too limited, but the balance of frequencies is great. SAme goes for the "Butterfly In The Wind".

Speaking of vocals... since they sound great [what mic do you use?], I would build the mix around the vocals more, that is - take the vocals as the reference and EQ other sounds to complement the vocals.

Otherwise, I really like your songs. "Liking" and "Following".

I'm not currently into remixing, I used to do it and I like it, but I'm overwhelmed with other work currently, but I can master it for you if you like.
