Hello, I have this problem with sidechaining in Logic (using the latest version). So what happens is: I make a pattern with kickdrum hitting and I sidechain an instrument to it. Everything is working and instrument is ducking. Problem is when I mute the kick or solo the instrument, it still ducks and it will keep ducking until I delete the pattern of a kickdrum. This has not been an issue until recent version. My old projects are still working as they should, instruments duck only when kick is audible. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

It's supposed to "duck" when the kick track is muted. Lots of folks don't even use the kick to duck in their song, they use some other sound that's not audible. If you want to prevent ducking in particular passages, you need to mute the kick events themselves. So, it's not a problem in Logic or any other DAWs. It's just the way it works.
