Hi, as the title says I can't seem to get grooves working. I have SD 3.3.5 and I have installed the Indiependent library. SD3 recognises it in the settings when I add it, but I'm missing all the grooves for it (and the grooves for the core library too, under additional libraries in settings it says no content at path and in the grooves tab it says no MIDI library found). I've double checked that the library version I downloaded was 1.5 (I read that 1.0 won't work) and I've tried some paths suggested from other people in the forum and on reddit, but none worked. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

    I'm on windows 10. TIA

try removing the paths in the settings and re-entering them and let it rebuild maybe. Also make sure the content is actually there in that path.

From what I understand, it should be in /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/MIDI but I have no such folder anywhere. Only thing that looks remotely like the right place is C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\Superior Drummer 3\Database which has folders such as 000084@THE_ROCK_FOUNDRY, but when I point to it I get the same error.

also in C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\Superior3 I have an errlog.doc file with the following content

I don't think I messed something up in the installation, I followed all the instructions and all the sounds load fine, it's just the grooves part that doesn't wanna work...

It can be anywehre you like. You can set the path for midi grooves in SD3 in settings. But make sure you have stored libraries like this X:\Toontrack\SDX\MIDI\xxx@libraries and then select the X:\Toontrack\SDX\MIDI\ directory in the settings. Should work. Maybe you have to 'Restore Midi Database' in advanced settings first for it to work?

After a lot of digging I finally found an installer that installed the grooves, it was for EZX but also installed SDX grooves too. It didn't even cross my mind that I should be installing the grooves separately, let alone that they'd be under the EZDrummer posts. I now have every midi. Thanks for the replies
