Thanks god they make plugins, some are normal, some are good and some are very very good like all best developers. It seems that they have a new line of products, maybe algo plugins or AI? will see

The only software company I’ve ever seen offer a plug-in for $550 then have random sales offering the same plug-in for $50. I don’t care about the quality as much as I do honesty, consistency & reliability. Acustica has never demonstrated any of those things to me.

Giving them a fair trail I found the tech demanded too much for any supposed superiority over algos at their genesis. The fact that they stated they were bringing essentially unobtanium audio processors for pennys on the dollar and at that time it was remarkably cheaper per sampled unit. They boasted about how their process made it so. The didn't have to do all the time consuming coding like their competitors.Then they changed their posted manifest. Bait and switch? They claimed the tech demanded more investment to realize its potential. It was now priced as a premium algo coded product. Yet they churn them out month after month after month. Revisions to the engine continue to come but for all? This is an albatross! Wish the market really did correct for such things.

to me as a customer, I feel I'm scammed, they NEVER addressed CPU usage with their updates, also why third party devs that make libs for Nebula can't use the damn thing at its full potential? what are they afraid? in order to use an eq full I must load five times Nebula, but they can do it, with selected third party devs like Dibiquadro or others... some of their plugins are nice sounding, eq's mostly but the compressors? I dont recall any to like ...not even close, specially if you are an edm addict, forget about using them, lately they integrated some stuff from other releases and made new ones, like Tiger or Frost ...

Their plugins are nice in my opinion. Many that I have tried, at least. For whatever reason, emulating a console workflow and having a set of particular eq points, curves, etc., is something that seems to work for me. But the cpu usage is terrible and there is considerable overlap between the products.

Do you guys have any favorites? So far Cream has been a standout. I like Ruby and the GML and EAR ones. The Cadac and Harrison ones are nice, too. imo. They sound very good.

 

I am a bit confused about the message of the trailer. Has Acustica Audio recently become an advocate of greening? What does "plug-ins that will take you by hand" mean? And why are there images of a cliff in this context? Should we, the plugin and I, throw ourselves hand in hand off a cliff to our deaths? And why is there so much dirt on the lens? I can hardly make out the product.
