If none of the downloaders in your browser don't work then just stick to recording the stream at 1x. I have no problems with that since in Linux with Jack or Pipewire you can record anything to anything just like that. It's a matter of connecting a virtual cable in a patchbay that works at the OS level and bit even sample precise... freedom! The way it should be in any OS.

 

I use https://spotify-downloader.com/ where you can simply enter the Spotify link of the track, Album or whole playlist, and you'll receive a download link for all tracks, 320kbps including metadata in a zip.

For FLAC or WAV downloads I use DRmare Audio Capture, which can lead u to many audio platforms to record. For example, Tidal where once u start playing the program automatically starts recording. Also you're able to cut the audio in the program itself after the recording.
Only finding a decent free download (torrent) website for WAV & FLACS is still hard..

And it has nothing to do with illegal acts because I'm a Spotify Premium member and it has been really annoying that several songs that had been available in the past on Spotify, suddenly turned to being unavailable.

 

Really annoying, and I guess it has to do with where you're based. Anywhere that isn't the US, UK or EU and you suddenly find that whole albums are missing. The only method I've tried up to now is to tell Spotify you are in one of the above countries (while using a vpn for that country) and then the songs will be available for streaming / download again.

 

So spotty as a premium member would only ever deliver 256k content thru a stream. I know this for a fact having recorded a few of their premium streams. How is it that this downloader is delivering 320k encoded files from spotty? Also, if this link you feed the downloader is from your account on spotty how is it that they do not know it's from your particular account? Or does this downloader allow ANYONE who has a free spotty account to simply submit a url and out pops 320k content? Frankly I find spotty to be a somewhat sordid affair anymore wherein all they are able to deliver is 256k (or 320k even) mashed up content.

 

This webpage method does not require premium membership from you. It is not linked in any way.
You just give it the "song link" that you find in your Spotify clicking on the 3 dots at the end of the song's line then Share > Copy Song Link.

The other methods, the shittify whatever named apps, required to open your Spotify and somehow I was never sure it if didn't give itself access to my account. In fact, sometimes I got notification from Spotify about strange logins from odd locations.

About 320k, I don't know what they really stream but Spotify max. bitrate is said to be 320k.

 

I have this problem in the EU, also tried it in the UK and in South America.* Probably they reduced the licensing to the USfor these songs.
And what makes it really annoying is when you find a grayed out song in an album where the other songs are available.

I was about to move to Tidal a while ago but it presented a strange sound degradation in many sounds that had no escuse, I tried it on different type of devices, different platforms.

Edit: *I forgot that besides of the other mentioned regions I had tried it in Australia, as well, and kept not giving me the right to play those songs. Perhaps not your location (mind you when you think about using VPN) but your registered location that matters. Although I haven't defined my address yet (because I share my "family plan" with friends/relatives living in another continent), even though it asks me when (rarely) I log into my account in a browser. So, other possibility is what matters is the location of the bank card I have configured to pay the fee.

Speaking more about this awesome webpage. First I tried it on my mac, it went flawlessly. Then I showed it to someone else on another mac with the same browser (FF) with the same adblockers (ublock+ghostery) enabled and before getting to the page with the green Verify button, it complained about adblocker. I had to disable uBlock for that page, then it worked. But strangly, there was no ad appearing at all. So I don't get it why it needs adblocker off.

I personaly go on SlavArt' divolt server and use the bot commands to get what I want from streaming services. In various bitrates as well
It's based on the Streamrip software but accounts are provided by the community so you're good to go.

 

Spotify's suspension is random, detected by their robot system. Re-submitting the appeal is possible, and once your account is restored, you can resume using it or create a new one for downloading songs with the NoteBurner or AudiFab Spotify converter.

Interesting. They seem to have everything that is available on Spotify, even the stuff I've mixed and/or mastered for practically completely unknown artists (as well as some obscure bands and artists I listen too). I had my account suspended earlier this year, when i finally got it back all my followers were gone. I had almost 2k followers. I'd been making playlists since 2011, one of my playlists has 7k followers. Support couldn't help, all my followers are permanently gone now. Be careful using spotify downloaders if you value your account

 

I've downloaded like 5tb of stuff from deezer and they've never suspended me

 

The thing is, most spotify converting apps require you to have a premium spotify account
