I've tried running the installer so many times, for the 2.19 and the 2.23 version, but everytime, nothing shows up in my Ableton Plugins. I uninstall and reinstall hoping it'll be different but its the same everytime.

If I open it as a standalone, I can get it to work, I can get the library to be placed from the script. But the install didnt put a VST3 file or .DDL file into any of my folders for Ableton to use and link to the plugins.

Can someone help please?

When I install using the installer, it doesnt ask me to select any folder. It just goes on its own.

 

what did u install vst2 or vst3? if it was vst2 copy paste the .dll file to ur plugin folder location that u have chosen in Live

 

64 bit vst3 will be under program file/common files/vst3/
64bit vst might be under program files/Vst plugins or probably under a steinberg folder

 

This could possible your solution.

 

Thanks, I installed the stock installation which doesn't mention VST3. I didn't check VST2 or AAX, so those didn't get installed.

When I check that folder there's no new VST3 only the previous ones I've installed

 

? what does that mean. Did u mean u didnt tick the box. I uninstalled ADD long time ago, i now use SD 3, but

dont u think that if theres no vst3 there must be a vst2 ?

 

You're right, but for some reason, I think that a VST 2 is inferior to a VST3. But i guess it doesnt matter if it doesnt even work. I'll try the VST2, and then to make Ableton point to the right subfolder

Tats bcauz there is no vst3 for that product version, maybe u have only installed standalone version.
Tick vst2 64 if ur using 64bit live, and if u have a different plugin folder copy paste the .dll into tat folder.
