Hi !

I can load and see my libraries on the Library Manager, but I get nothing on Kontakt 7 Standalone !
I've searched for quite a while and I can't find a working solution, what am I doing wrong ?

(it's a cracked version of Kontakt Standalone on a SSD (not on the C: ) on my computer)

 

On the top bar, click the second to the right icon. Make sure "Side Pane" is checked. Then, click the library books icon, the one on furthest to the left. The library selection menu should appear.

 

The Library Manager tells you what's installed, and those libraries will appear in your Side Pane, looking exactly the same as it all did in Kontakt 6.
The new Browser is a different story altogether (library books icon).
To get things to show up there, you have to direct it to find the libraries using the little gear icon at bottom left of that view.

I can't find the "Side Panel" here, am I searching in the wrong place ?

 

Click the icon to the right first so that the arrows next to it disappear.

 

Changing from minimized to full will not make the Side Pane visible while they're in the Content Browser view, they have to click the "stacked books" icon at the left to properly assess what is in the side library pane.

That's what I said in my earlier post.

 

An additional question:
I managed to get my libraries also shown in the browser window (with the "Import content" button on the bottom left).
However - there are no pictures shown in the Browser window.
In the classical library view (via Side Panel) all libraries are shown with pictures.

Anyone could help me to get pics also for libraries in the Browser window?

 

Your lib with missing picture needs a special folder with same name in..

Code:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\image\*custom-lib-name*

..with a MST_artwork.png in it! Create an own with 200x100 px. Hide, re-hide libs in Kontakt and voila.

 

THX for your help... but i have a Portable or Standalone version of Kontakt 7. It is located in my "Users\MyName\Kontakt7-Folder"
I assume that your solution works for non-Portable versions? For my Portable version this does not work...

 

However after some try and error i find the solution..
you have to copy/create the mentioned folder by user "poly" for the portable version under: \Kontakt 7\UserData\NI Resources\image
and Kontak 7 is the place where you have installed the portable version.
Hope that helps other people!
