How can Hans Zimmer connect all those screens I show on the image?

And do you recommend any screen like a tablet or similar that is not very big but where I could see well putting it horizontally? I want to add a 3rd screen to have always the T-Racks Metering or similar things of the master channel visible.
I actually use an old screen but the quality is bad and I can't see it well if I put it with inclination.

    Using windows and Ableton Live.

    Cheers

I've got a screen just like that and... I don't know what it is. It's a a studio and I won't be there until Friday. BUT... if no one gives a good answer prior to that I'll tell you exactly what it is. It's 10 point touch (though I never use it) and only cost around $300.

If you just want another screen to keep plugins in you can do that pretty much with any modern day screen or TV, you just need a graphics card that has more than one output.

Hans Zimmer, as many other composers for film/tv, has several computers. So we don't know how many are attached to the same computer if him or someone from his team don't say it.
If you ask about the touchscreens, that was custom made by Mark Wherry for him. That screens are attached to a minipc, with a custom app.
If you have a desktop pc with a dedicated graphics card it's not uncommond that will support 3 or 4 monitors. If you have a laptop with thunderbolt maybe it support several screens (depend on the brand and thunderbolt version)

Picture looks very old. Nowadays a Pro Studio would use something like this where you have enough space. By the Way even with an Laptop you can connect multiple Screens via Dockingstation if your Graphic Card supports it.

The Touchscreen could be something like this which is made for Music Production an can even be controlled via App.

Little smaller and not as high priced

Professionals prefer multiple screens even while using a wide monitor, or in a mode that will treat it as two separate displays. The point of this, and I want to preface that this is generally for composers like Hans Zimmer that create MIDI mockups which may include final delivery of the finished score, is to have discrete visual zones for each part of their workflow. The touchscreen, for most composers like this is not for vst control and moving faders (which is not satisfying on touchscreen btw), it's usually workflow specific macros and shortcuts (akin to a streamdeck) for use in the DAW.
The video that picture was taken from (literally, phone picture of the computer monitor) is not that old.

Monitors with DisplayPort out allows for daisy chaining displays without the need for each plugged into a port of the graphics card.

Agree on the Widescreen. Personally i would go for Dual Monitors. The Slate Raven has a Batch Command System where you can execute up to 1000 commands which can also be controlled via iOS.

The best thing I have seen is wayyyy out of my price range, with two Samsung Odyssey 55" connected together. Truly astounding quality and viewing. Almost overkill, but I suppose if you can afford it why not? I probably would with 180 degree viewing and editing.
As someone said this image you posted looks quite old and two monitors covers most of what any studio might need other than a touch screen which people have already covered.

Hans Zimmer is using multiple monitors to see what his co composers are working on. Hans will either ok what he is seeing and hearing or make changes himself. Hans and his team are always working on multiple projects. Jean Michael Jarre uses the Raven touchscreens both live and in the studio

He's got two macs at his side, one screen for the smpte synced video display, the main project in front of him, touchscreen with macros below that, second screen for mixconsole, a separate touchscreen for the mixconsole. Jxl has the same setup, except no macs, and no 2nd touchscreen.
I've heard a member of his team talk about working with him, he never mentioned Hans pulling up their work on secondary screens.

I use my ipad via usb with 'splashtop wiredx' app. It acts as a second display and a touch interface. The better ipad you have the faster it will be. I use an old ipad 2 and it works fine for me.

    I use 2 x 43" 4K displays and 1 full HD display 21" connected to my mac pro 2019.
The smaller one is solely for monitoring the Softube Console One app, great for metering etc. The console one controller lays in front of that one for easy editing the masterbus/total eq.

The 2 big screens are for Logic Pro, left is for instruments and submix and the right one (Main) is for my arrangement and main mix. Screenshot 2023-01-09 at 17.55.06.png

    Screenshot 2023-01-09 at 17.55.45.png

In front I have 3x avid artist mix (24 faders), a SSL UC1 and 2 soundforce controllers (sfc60 / SFC-8)also a DT300 alpha juno controller and a Roland system-8 from roland for controlling cloud and other plugins.

I looked for a multitouch OSX compatible display, but there weren't (at least a few years ago) so I gave up on that. But preferably I would sink one widescreen multi touch display into the desk for VI/FX control. On Windows this is standard supported.

See above screenshots of my workspace (2 main displays) Below is the console one OSD

I once worked in a place where they had a KVM Switch. With such a device you can quickly switch between multiple machines
using only 1 display and 1 pair of peripherals.

A similar feature is also integrated in modern Logitech peripherals. You can pair up to 3 machines and switch using a button on
keyboard & mouse. Via wireless LAN you even can move files between the machines by dragging them from 1 display to another.
That means you can run multiple machines - each with its own display (like in the Hans Zimmer screenshot) and interact with all
of them by pushing those buttons.

On the Logitech MX Keys keyboard it's these buttons:

Thank you very much for your answer and for all the answers.
I'm thinking of buying a cheap tablet for this. That would be perfect to have a second display and a touch interface. But how should it be connected? Via USB? Or I have to buy a special adapter to HDMI or display port? This tablet would be my 4th screen..
How could I use it as a touch interface? Via USB or via HDMI?
I'll take a look to splashtop wiredx app, that sounds great solution.

via normal lightning cable usb, but know that its not multitouch support, ie it only takes one finger touch as input.

    Thank you.
I have the tablet but I can't find a free app to try if it works. I only find the Splashtop Wired XDisplay PRO (not free). Do you know how to install a simple version without having to add a credit card?

Some pro video cards allows up to 8 screens (8 connectors) on the same card ... Not really exceptional in the professional range.
