This synth is actually under rated.
First of all, it's sound is very good, as the oscillators and filters are well programmed.
Then, it seems simple, but that's exactly what you need sometimes.
It's not only wavetable capable, you can also use it as an "analog style" synth.
Thanks to it's filters it does not necessarily sound digital.

Last but not least, there are tons of free presets out there.

One critic? No visual on what happens to the wave when filtered or modulated, ( like on other synths like Phase Plant) but we have our ears for that, or we can add an oscilloscope in the chain.

Conclusion, with it you can easily create your own musical sounds for your compositions. These sounds that you need when you have a track where the arrangement is based on instruments.

I deeply recommend it, specially for beginners and medium knowledge sound design. (Also useful for advanced of course).

Looks cool. I used the predecessor. Found it a bit generic sounding (as in "digitally clean"), but I guess you can always add noise and drift / pitch instabilities manually.

Personally I settled with freebies (Surge XT, Vital, Tyrell, Zebra CM and OB-XD in particular), so I don't see a real need for another synth in my toolbox. Synths that add anything to the table that isn't already covered by freebie / magware synths may be an exception, but so far I haven't found them.
