    Interruptor was great for dub-centric effects, specifically their Tape Delay plugin which had a beautiful noise generator:

    Sylenth1 v2.21 (older version is just better)
    FM7, simply better GUI than FM8 and for nostalgia reasons.
    Pro 53, very cpu light and just sounds great.
    most of them are x86, but jbridge and ddmf bridgewize should help.

    True. L1 started it all somehow. It was that new magic thing that made everything better we thought. One guy once was like 'I use it on every single track, not just for mastering'. A bold statement at that time - impliing he was so loaded he could afford several TDM dsp cards for his pro tools.
