Hello! i have a problem with r2r keygens lately, they open correctly and register plugins EXCEPT, when i need to open an xml file or activation request, then it just freeze, does anybody know what could be the cause of that? Thank you in advance

 

what is the software you try to activate?

 

its Goodhertz All Plugin 3.80, but yesterday i had the same pb with bogren digital r2r keygen, i recently installed steinberg AIR keygen with official e licenser, do you think that can be the cause? i never had those types of pb before...

 

where are these files stored? copy them to desktop and try again with keygen.

 

it doesnt work, as soon a i try to open the new window the keygen crash...

 

check your antivirus and any other protection

 

It already was deactivated, the problem occurs only when i need to open a new window inside of a keygen

 

install Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 Redistributable Package (x64)

 

i have them installed already, the weird thing is those keygens used to work on my system before...

 

Try turning off your AV. I seem to have a similar issue with the older d16 R2R keygen, where the av (windows av, but Bitdefender as well) didn't act like it normally would. it normally blocks the KG from running but for some reason, even when I turned off the AV to run the KG, it allowed the KG to run, funky R2R music and all. But would give me an error when generating, Error #38 or so. Strange, but the behavior is consistent between at least two different AV, might be a new way to deal with older keygens and such.
U have to be sure it is actually turned off (Real-time protection). I normally just have the folder where my stuff is located as an unscanned exclusion, but now I deffo have to have AV off.

so the problem is in your sandbox

 

not only, it happens outside of a sandbox in a normal windows context too

 

you asked for help, but you do not give any information and do not answer some of the questions.

you said that the anti-virus software is disabled, but you run the keygen in the sandbox... can you write the name of the anti-virus? sandbox name? OS info?

keygen closes after pressing the button to select a file. most likely the error occurs when calling one of several functions or commands responsible for accessing the file system.

 

Ok sorry about that, my bad. My AV is Avast and the sandbox is SanboxiePlus im currently on win10, thank you

 

but what about windows defender? realtime protection turned off too?

 

unfortnately yes, its linked to avast when i cut the detection in avast it cut it everywhere else

 

I managed to find the crash dump called keygen.exe and it said that the problem is ashshell.dll, apparently an avast related dll even tho i completely shut it down (or thats what i imagined) during the keygen process.

idk if that can be a useful information

im really sorry about that i copied the wrong thing, thats why i tried to correct it as soon as possible, in the dmp file, the problematic file is ashshell.dll
