Strange email from Presonus

    Some days ago I've received this email from Presonus:

    "First Last,

    Thank you for registering Studio One Artist.

    To download the software and related content, log into your Presonus Account and go to "My Software".

    Please use this product key to activate Studio One Artist:
    xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

    Your Presonus Support Team"

    Now, I have never registered on Presonus...so the only thing I could think is that someone have entered a wrong email address!

    Anyway, to use the product key I need to login on the site but I don't know the Username nor Password. I've tryed to create a new account but when I eneter my email address the site says "this email address is already used"!

    Any idea to how use this product key? :dunno:

    Not fair but use the "forgot my password" thing, there must be one and if your email address was used you should receive a mail for resetting it.

    I would definitely ask about an honesty program... maybe if you NEVER spoke of it again. I know Image-Line's been abused before but I think if this happened to them I'd imaging a new line of thinking would occur. lol
